There was huge pain, I was awake through out the whole process of my wisdom tooth extraction and it felt like he tried to yank my tooth with a crowbar. He doesn't explain the risk and procedure of your case. After I was done, it was just a "goodbye", he did not inform me on what I needed to do to take care of my extraction. I had unbearable pain afterwards.
