Worst experience ever! She botched my bunion surgery. I had to have 2 more surgeries because of her terrible surgery. The bone around the plate she put in was dying. I had surgery to remove all the hardware (5) and the plate and had bone grafting done and a new plate. Then when everything was healing I had surgery to remove the plate. She permanently disfigured me and I am in constant pain and discomfort. I constantly communicated to her that my foot hurt on every post op visit. She kept saying that it would get better. Went to Dr. Paulsrud for ingrown toenails. My two big toes that she cut out the ingrown nails on still come back over and over. I've been back to her too, but I won't have my feet butchered by Kirsten Paulsrud again. She did uneven cuts and the toenails are still coming back repeatedly after two visits to her. My feet used to be one of my best features and now they are ugly.
I see all of the bad reviews have been removed. The experience I had with her was terrible. As soon as she found out I had infection she released me and I almost lost my foot I decided myself to seek a surgeon in Wichita and he had to go in and clean all the infection out and fill my bones with cement. So please take my advice and go to a surgeon in Wichita because every experience I've had with her was bad. Please take my advice. Thank you
I had foot surgery about two weeks ago! The surgery took alot out of me! Physical, emotional but Dr.Paulrud took excellent care of me! I got my stitches today! It has been a learning experience.... Thank you to the staff of the Podiaty department including the nures! Very grateful to all!!! Sally Vargas
She immediately diagnosed me on first visit and quickly gave me a wonderful injection for my arthritis in my toe. It is going great so far and she has a backup plan if that doesn't keep it improved.
