Came in 4/23 for dinner. We frequent often and today was not it. We were seated at a high top near the bar area. A young girl took our orders and we noticed they changed the menu since the last time we were there. Hussongs…. What’s going on? You’re completely understaffed and it’s incredibly noticeable. You have two girls in here who are trying their level best to keep up with the demand of the customers who’ve visited your establishment today. Maybe Sundays are slower for you normally but having only a bartender/waitress and hostess/waitress/busser during any shift in my experience as a restaurant employee is wild behavior. I spent eight years building restaurants from Texas Kentucky to San Diego. This is a well run really nice Mexican restaurant outdoor seating. This is a great run Mexican style Cantina. They do not serve breakfast. Huevos rancheros…. But if you want a great lunch or good dinner, it fills up fast. The service is exceptional. The food is wonderful. You cannot go wrong here.
My friend and I had an amazing lunch here on the patio. The water fountain and shade made it the perfect atmosphere to enjoy tacos, rice and beans. We had tried a delicious margarita that hit the spot! The server was kind and kept checking up on us as we enjoyed our lunch. The chips and salsa were my favorite.
