I want to say thank you to one of the bus drivers. On June 22 around 11:00-11:15, my husband and I were on a very wet motorcycle ride. We came off the side road from the drop off spot onto hwy 8, a bus was behind us. Thank you for giving us plenty of room even when we were going under the speed limit in the rain. If you were the driver behind 2 very wet motorcycles, thank you for your courtesy.
As far as campsites go HVR should be the standard other camp grounds strive for. Separate areas for family camping and camping with the intent to party with much less restrictions on “quiet hours”. The shower houses are always clean and the nicest I’ve experienced while camping. The store offers everything you may have forgotten without ridiculous mark ups and they even offer a breakfast buffet and hunt brothers pizza/wings with free delivery directly to your camp site.

Incredible experience! Beautiful is an understatement. The water is clean and clear. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The bathrooms are clean. This is not your average campground. I can’t wait to make this our annual trip. Thank you huzzah!
