Floated in kayaks today. Had a perfect trip. The weather was amazing, water was clear and the perfect temp, and the staff at Huzzah are the greatest. Thanks Amy and Valley!
I have camped my whole life and this campground is the Best I have ever been to! The showers and bathrooms are very clean and the General Store has anything you might run out of or forgot to bring. The water is crystal clear and is very shallow in most spots for families with small children. The staff there are wonderful! They also have a Zoo side for those who want to play loud music after 11pm or stay up late...something for everyone! The float trips are awesome here! I can't say enough about this place:)
Just got back from a weekend from the resort. The campsites are very clean and hugh. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem I saw was no water hydrants at the basic campsites. We had to use bottled water or cooler water for clean up and cooking. We will definitely go back!!
I've been camping here for 27yrs. This weekend was my first for opening weekend. The pot luck was awesome. My only concern is that quiet time is not strictly enforced. We had extremely loud music and folks across from us. My daughter had too go over and ask them to turn down their music as we have small kids trying to sleep. To which the just closed their truck door from where the music was being played. Being we were in the family side of Huzzah I expected it to be quiet time not party time!!! Vista View in march was the best idea! The view is amazing, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the people are helpful and friendly! The perfect amount of seclusion made this trip so good, that we're coming back in two weeks :)
Was there over Christmas weekend, lucky we were at VISTA View. Best place to be. Had a great time.
