Ex-pen-sive. Charged per person, per night for camping. Not something I am used to. The kayak I received for my float took on water the entire 6 miles. I wondered why no one else in my group was having issues in low spots and I was bottoming out constantly. Had to stop and empty water from the hull of the kayak. Not much else I could do. When finally reached the take out point, I tried to tell the employee but he did not speak English. Made for a miserable float.
Love the campgrounds and the staff. They are a busy place and put up with lots of people and do a wonderful job.
It was a good time and the staff was great. The water was a bit low, so the canoe got hung up a few times, but that isn't something anyone can control. I was there on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I hadn't been there in 24 years and it was better than I remembered.
We had great time for one day trip! We didn't not camp or use the rest of the resort's features.
