Hush Hush: Love it Love it! – I never would have walked into this place, tucked away under a corner of the Key Bank Building, had a co-worker not suggested it, but wow! I'm so glad I did. I love their food, their service, and their prices! The Hush Hush Chicken Salad is fabulously flavored, the Veggie Messa is a perfect amount of food if you're looking for a combo plate, and everything else looks great, but because I'm addicted to the salad I have not moved on to other meals. Despite the line that forms during the lunch rush... read more
Let Hush Hush be no secret! – I went to Hush Hush religiously when it was located on the waterfront. Then one day POOF! it was gone. I waited years for it to return then I found out they reopened across from the Greek. I love Hush Hush, they do everything right, I could eat there everyday. Highly Highly recommended
Some of the best middle-eastern food that I have ever had! – I love this place! If I could rate higher than a 10 I would. The ower is a really nice person and the food is amazing. My friend lived in the middle east for 10 years and she said it is unbelievable also so I know it is must be authentic.
A+ food and service – Very good standard middle eastern menu items. When i was in there for lunch the owner was serving and was extremely prompt and friendly. If you like Nicholas or Abu Rashid but work/live downtown, this place is just as good.
One of the best of its kind – Living nearby, I frequent the Hush Hush Cafe quite often. I've seen rave reviews for other Middle Eastern fare, but this place is difficult to match. Only Nicholas on Grand comes to mind. The main dishes - Falafel, kabobs, shwarma, etc. - have all been good. Every dessert except the very dry cake was excellent. If they have it, try a warm dessert with a cheese-like filling. It's quite busy during warm evenings as people relax on mint tea and flavored smoke.
Hush Hush Cafe has a 5 star rating with 17 reviews.
Hush Hush Cafe is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
