Friendly staff, I got late by 15 mins and they told me I missed the appointment though I wasn’t worried about it much and luckily I called next day and I was able to get the appointment the same day. My primary care NP Vanessa Y Vo is pretty good and knowledgeable like a doctor, and did my physical better than my previous primary care doctors. Overall I liked it here with friendly staff, and felt comfortable and better than any of my previous visits at other big private clinics where I did my physical in previous years.
I was seeing provider, Lydia, Lau, at the clinic on Newport Rd. I had been an active patient within the last few months. She had one of her people call me and tell me she was not gonna renew my medication unless I came in to see her. I have never missed an appointment. I had never canceled an appointment and it was so rude. I have been seeing a very professional, wry caring doctor in this network since 2020. Due to Covid and my medical history, this provider was so considerate that he never pressed for physical appointments but instead check up on me via phone periodically. However, the receptionist on the phone, Liz, was extremely cruel and rude. I called and ask if this doctor could be a job reference for me but he replied in person that that’s not something he would be fit to do. Call wait time is ridiculous every time and it takes weeks to get an appointment. I always feel rushed during my appointments and it’s like they don’t want to do their job - I don’t recommend if you’re looking for a caring doctor that actually acknowledges your concerns
