I was a tenant at Huron Towers for just under three years, and overall, my experience was frustrating. The rental office demonstrated a consistent lack of competence. I won’t reiterate the numerous issues with the elevators, laundry facilities, and HVAC systems—those have already been extensively documented in many previous reviews. Do not live here. We requested to end our lease early on May 31 instead of July 1, and management agreed, stating it worked for them since they were planning to renovate the apartment. Despite this, we were still charged rent for June until we called to dispute it. At that point, they acted as if the early lease termination had never been discussed or approved. I enjoyed my two year stay at this apartment. It was perfect for me because it’s 1) a short walk to north campus 2) short walk to the blue bus/ ride route 3) they did good job of snow maintenance and 4) never encountered any bugs. They also have a nice gym for the size. Can be a bit crowded at times but when it’s empty it’s great. There’s also a great Korean restaurant and a coffee shop. I've very much enjoyed living here for years. But suddenly, there is exponentially more noise, continued interruptions with parking, I'm pretty sure they threw away my bike despite me following every step they asked of me, and now they are entering my unit without my permission, without notifying me, without even leaving a note. Did something change? I don't recommend this place to anyone anymore, when I thought this was a great place in town.

I am writing to express my disappointment with Huron Tower's handling of a recent bike cleanup event. My bike was disposed of because I missed the 3-day notification about their plan to clear the bike racks. They sent an email only three days in advance, as demonstrated by the pictures I have. Additionally, I found no notices posted on my door or in common areas when I was about to leave home for 6 days.
