RecommendedI have found the doctors and staff to be knowledgeable and helpful with my dogs and cats. I was able to get an appointment when needed and the doctor or staff would always follow up after an appointment to see how my sick pet was doing. The hospital helped to spay and neuter all of my cats and dogs. I was impressed that pain was also managed to keep my pets as comfortable as possible after surgery. I have several furbabies and hardly ever have “textbook” cases. My guys never follow the normal symptoms. The vets work closely with me and together we figure out the best course of action that I am comfortable with (I am not into unnecessary aggressive diagnostics). The staff are friendly and helpful. I have been going to this practice for over 10 years.
There is one vet in particular that is horrible, never received a call explaining why she did not follow the emergency vets instruction for his care after a major surgery. Called all day was told he was fine to only show up at seven to pick him up to take him back to emergency vet for the night to find him completely lethargic going into a seizure and ultimately dying right before my eyes and when I had shown up i was told He was just depressed and needed to come to the back to see if I could get him out of the kennel. We recently switched over to Hurley Vet. I still have yet to stop in myself (My husband has brought our dog both times so far!) and I have to say, we are soooo pleased with everyone there. Dr. Gunzburg has been great with our dog, Brutus. My husband said he's so nice, down to earth & personable. So glad we made the decision to switch over & finally found a vet who truly cares about us & our dog.
My dog has been a patient here for almost 10 years and I couldn’t imagine ever bringing him anywhere else.. The staff is always friendly and kind to him and show him lots of love when he has to stay there while I’m out of town.. I highly recommend bringing your pets here..
