After waiting for SO many months for my new patient appointment, I just received a call from Dr. Hurlburt's office that she decided to cancel my appointment due to a previous cancellation that I did, on time, due to loss of insurance and job loss. Something out of my control. A colleague registered nurse referred me to her. The office never called me to follow up on my insurance information like they said they would, until I called this week. I used to really love this clinic when I first started going over a year ago, but recently it feels like things have completely fallen apart. I had an appointment scheduled for a Monday and only received a reminder call Friday afternoon around 1 PM, just four hours before they closed for the weekend. My mom has been going to her for years. We are trying to get her to switch. My mom said that Dr. Hurlburt is great but her office staff is not. My mom gets told they are sending her a lab order and then it doesn't happen. My mom requested a refill at the pharmacy and wasn't told that the medication was denied to be filled and why.
