I have been seeing Dr Laney for years and love him to death. I have always had a good experience with every visit but I was scheduled to have eye surgery and needed a clearance from him to do the surgery. The eye Dr's staff tried to call them and couldn't get ahold of anyone. The day of surgery we were waiting for someone to give us clearance. Have to clarify our previous post. Should have been 5 stars and not a 4. Everything that Dr V and his staff provided was excellent for my husband David. We would recommend him to anyone that required a heart surgeon. He is doing so well with his recovery. We are so thankful.

Dr. "V" was very good. Good sense of humor, provided good information about the procedure, gladly answered all my questions. All of the support staff was very good also. I have only 2 complaints; the first being that the hospital and some of the equipment could use updating or replacing. The 2nd complaint has to do with the food served. Being that I was a heart patient, I was put on a special diet, but the food I was often served did not align with the prescribed diet, (nor was it very tasty, but I expected that).
