We recently had a buyer use Jim and were a little disappointed in the inspection report. The wording in it was unprofessional in several areas and several of the findings had nothing to do with the home inspection report. There were three separate incidences where he couldn't even figure out how to turn on the appliances and reported them as either not working or inaccessible. ex. Couldn't turn on the fireplace. He uncovered several issues that would have led to substantial problems had they not been addressed. He has the knowledge and experience to know where to look for problems, and he presents his results in a clear and concise manner.

Jim Brown provides an exceptional service as a home inspector. He explained everything he saw to me throughout the entire process, and it was all very informative and helpful. The following report was sent to me promptly the same day, and was very clear and thorough, complete with annotated pictures that he had taken highlighting the areas in question. I would highly recommend Jim to do your home inspection. He performed as helpful and professional a home inspection as I could imagine. He was extremely thorough, documenting everything he found, got the report to me quickly, and took the time to answer all my questions. Plus, his report has an abundance of photos, explicitly pointing out his findings, and is published on the web so they are easily accessible and convenient.
