Thank you to Hunt's for helping me solve a problem with my Canon EOS 70D's sensor while I was vacationing in NH. Caroline and Kevin were both friendly and eager to help. Kevin's knew exactly which sensor cleaning kit would work for my camera and I was back on my way within a few minutes. My sensor is now free of the pesky dust spot!
Though the staff are all much more knowledgeable than I, they never speak down to me. Leonard walked me through several camera options after finding out my needs. He was very patient with all my questions and never pressured me for the purchase. I appreciate how friendly, professional and helpful the entire staff is.
Excellent customer service. Acknowledge me as soon as I walked in the door, even though they were busy and there were others in front of me, I heard "Hello! I will be with you just as soon as I can." Instead of a sour look on his face because he was clearly SWAMPED, he was friendly and inviting. When it was turn for service, he cleaned my camera (I thought it needed repair!) and sent me on my way. I tried to pay, and he said "All I did was clean off some dust." Not a big deal to him, but huge to me. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
These folks are total professionals and very willing to go the extra mile to help their customers. I have no intentions of going anywhere else for equipment.

On Wednesday, I dropped off four black and white film roles at the South Portland location and told them they had to be developed this weekend. When I went to pick up the negatives, I was told that even though they were done, they weren't there, even though the people working there promised they wold be ready by this weekend. Everyone there is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend buying a camera or photo equipment at Hunts before anywhere else.

I dropped my camera and it no longer was working properly. Fearing that I would have to replace my camera, or spend hundreds to get it fixed, I brought it into Hunt's. Within a few minutes they fixed the camera! It was a miracle. They were really friendly and knowledgeable. What a pleasure to have one of the last remaining camera stores so close to home. Give them your business, they deserve it.
