The House At 61 Steinwehr Ave Was Not Here Yet During The Civil War Battle Of Gettysburg, But Was Build About 1900, Yes It Is Small Inside, But We Make Great Use Of The Space. We are CLOSED FOR THE SEASON FROM THANKSGIVING, DECEMBER, JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, REOPENING IN March.

Hunt's is our favorite restaurant in Gettysburg (possibly, Pennsylvania). We make at least two trips to town every year. There are ALWAYS the first two steps as we arrive: check into the hotel and head to hunt's for food. I do mean food! I have tried most everything on the menu and I wish I could say I have a favorite. Scott and Donna are amazing hosts! AWESOME folks! Scott makes the BEST Cheesesteaks! We send everyone from Nashville going on tour to drop in for a bit of home. They LOVE music and the performers who work hard to bring it to the people! We genually miss Scott & Donna! They are like family! Perhaps we will have a special delivery this holiday season! ;)
Cheesesteak BETTER than you can get in Philly. Cheeseburgers BETTER than Five Guys and the fries are imported from the boardwalk. If you are in Gettysburg and don't eat at Hunt's you will miss the best food in town. Only thing is that every now and then you have to put up with the cook's whistling.
