I had a very disappointing experience at Huntington Beach Urgent Care. I went in with a personal concern about my menstrual cycle and was seen by Dr. Stephanie Thompson. Unfortunately, she showed no empathy or genuine concern. I even had a photo to show her for reference, and she showed no interest in viewing it. She did not order any lab work, imaging, or further evaluation that most physicians would typically recommend in such cases. Her communication was vague and unhelpful. Their billing department is pathetic. They have harassed me for a bill WE PAID well over a year ago for a visit for my son in 2023. After I shared the invoice, they came back with a $30 c0-pay we supposedly owe for my daughter THAT WAS NEVER SEEN BY THEM. Then they stated it wasn’t for my husband and son it was for my daughter and I. Which both had never had a visit OR a telehealth appointment ( you don’t do telehealth for rsv ans strider. Dr. Thomas and the staff did an amazing job of assisting me with a piece of glass in my foot. Dr. Thomas injected my foot with pain medicine then was able to remove the piece of plate in my foot and did an amazing job. Dr. Thomas is extremely passionate about giving outstanding care and was very professional about taking the glass out of my foot in a way that didn't give me a lot of pain.
