Huntington is currently holding a payroll check that my girlfriend mobile deposited into our joint account. It’s been 10 days and they claim it’s because they are waiting for the funds to be paid. Funny though the payroll company confirmed with their bank that the check has been deducted from their account. THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT W/O REASON.EVERYONE IS GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND.I CANT GET A. Doesn’t watch your accounts for fraud. Unusual activity should close account immediately. When a dispute is filled they say you are responsible. Customer service is very rude, told us we stole money from the bank. Will never do business with this bank again

Huntington Bank are crooks. No one person provides a similar answer let alone same one. They put deposits on long holds, then extend the holds , You can NEVER talk to anyone who makes any of the so called decisions. I tried to log in the other day and couldn't ...so I called the 800 number and was told because a deposit was on hold I couldn't look at my account, talked to 2 more different people , different answers and finally got told my account was locked, and up for closure..... so apparently Brendan in fraud mitigation d... read more

Huntington is refusing to release funds on my first trust check deposited when it cleared the bank it was from and making me wait 1-2 weeks for the funds, I will not be doing business with them anymore. Three separate people said three separate things on why my check cannot be released then asked if I could get a letter from the bank it was through to release my funds when they confirmed it was released already. They charged me for an ATM fee and another fee for looking at my account. You are allowed 2 ATM uses a month at non-Huntington atms. This was the one and only time I’ve used a different bank atm. If I had not called it to their attention, they would be keeping my money. Now I’m in the negative because of their lack of knowledge of their own business!

I would definitely recommend using another bank if you are considering doing SBA lending. We have been waiting for closing on our SBA loan for months now due to poor communication efforts by the SBA Banker. We completely understand being short staffed but this is unacceptable.

They approved my company for a $250K SBA loan. I had to use it before 6 months expired. Since I didn't have an immediate need for it, I wound up not using it. In my book that is called being fiscally prudent. After 10 months I did need it, but was told I had to re-apply. Since my company had grown 3x since the initial approval, I thought it was just going to be a formality. Boy was I wrong !! Opened a new checking account, got the direct deposit. Using zelle for $5.00 transfer, succeeded. Then Zelle for $495, online access totally locked and told me to go to a branch which is 2 states away from me. You are making your customers life so much harder. If you were concerned about identity, why would you allow me to open an account so easily? How about asking people to verify their identities before fully open the account.
