The staff was amazing! Giving a 1 start due to a no complication labor and delivery costing $8000 with insurance.
Had extreme stomach cramps and nausea. VA Clinics do not have an ER for weekends so had hubby take me to the closest ER which happened to be Novant. Got right in and they understood I was a Vet using my Community Care option. Could not have asked for a better team who went above and beyond. CT scan was option presented by the Dr. so glad I said yes.. He found a cyst on 1 of my ovaries that otherwise would not have been found. This hospital should seriously be evaluated by the medical board. I have been here for over 27 hours now and have had multiple mis-steps in my care. Some of the very basic needs completely disregarded and multiple "student" doctors coming by to interrupt my rest I'm trying to get to ask me to explain what's going on after explaining multiple times since yesterday. Read a patient's chart before having them explain over and over and over again what is going on. No basic level of care. Definitely no advanced level of care. Very... read more
