PINEAPPLE COCONUT MACARON!!! Yes I'm aware it's all caps but it was that good. The best I've had in Portland. This was my 1st time here and it won't be my last. The staff was friendly and the place was cozy. My 2nd favorite... Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake 😋 I love that it comes in a muffin.. a large muffin but no complaints with me.

I drank a ginger pear chai and it was really good! It went really well with the spiced apple Bundt cake. My daughter ordered a vanilla steamer, it was flecked with vanilla beans. They have a wide variety of mini cupcakes, small enough to eat more than one if you can’t decide between all the creative flavors. The staff was very nice and the drinks were made quickly.

Hungry Heart is my favorite Cafe in Montavilla. It's quiet and low-key, yet folks are friendly. When I need to get out of the house to get some work done, I head here. I can't comment on most of the baked goods, but for the GF offerings, and their macaron and the cherry chocolate mini Bundt cake are amazing. Just the thing to keep a student or writer in their groove. Keep being your wonderful selves!
