I went in for the first time today to buy a cupcake for my sister's birthday. The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and explained all the flavors they had available that day. They even gave me a little "happy birthday" sign up stick into the cupcake since it was my first time in! The cupcakes were all so beautiful too. Very friendly service, will be back again.
I used to swear by this bakery, their products are declining for me. Every time I come to the bay, I make it a point to stop and pick up several items for myself and family. What happened to the German Chocolate Cake, that I order every year for my birthday. I like the cooked frosting over this raw coconut mistake. I bought sweet potato pie (epic fail). I came for a cake tasting for my sisters upcoming baby shower and what an awesome experience! Nothing that I imagined the pleasant atmosphere to how knowledgeable the owner is about her products. I was very impressed and can't wait to see and taste the finished product! I will be back!
Great desserts. If you have a sweet tooth and in the Vallejo area you have to stop by and get a sweet treat.
The hummingbird cake is delicious and the cream cheese frosting is out of this world! My fiancé and I did a cake tasting here for our wedding cake and have decided to have the ladies here bake our cake for our special day. The white cake with strawberry mousse is phenomenal as well. Also, the ladies that work here are very kind and treat their customers like family. I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone with a sweet tooth or in need of a cake for an event.

Just love it, even my sugar free. Lemon bar & chocofudge are to die for with their pressed coffee, my 50th anniversary cake was made by Hummingbird!
