My family and I went in today to specifically see hippo and meet him. We had the worst experience that I’ve ever had going in. We asked if we could meet him & the lady straight up said I don’t think he would be a good fit for you. She never asked us any questions about ourselves or how our home life was. No questions about the animals we have now or if we have any experience with this type of dog. She just looked at us and for some reason assumed we couldn’t deal with him. keep checking till the right dog appears. have patience. don't forget to drop off your donations. newspapers, blankets, food items, kitty litter, cleaning supplies, towels, anything a pet might need. they are always great ful. even volunteer your time. go visit, you might get hooked. they even like toys. we have our 2nd rescue.
always kind and very professional
adopted my first dog in 2013. they were great then. went back and got my second one February 2018 and although my schedule and theirs barely matched they worked with me to be able to adopt my second baby. they were patient and caring and it was an awesome experience both times.
Natalie is amazing and you can tell the entire staff loves animals and wants them to go to good homes.

Wonderful people that really love pets & take great care of them until they are adopted.
We brought Carbon home a week ago today, he is the most loving cat & he puts up with our kiddos "hugs" (squeezes) amazingly ~~ we definitely made the right decision to bring him home with us � thank you !!
