About this business
We have 11 full-time employees and several volunteers to take care of our animals. We are never closed, we work 365 days a year and every holiday because the animals need round the clock care with feeding and cleaning at a minimum. Every animal leaves our facility healthy. All animals are quarantined upon admission, bathed, treated for fleas and ticks, and tested and treated for parasites. I was so impressed with the facility, the staff and volunteers. It is so clean in the front as well, as in the back where the dogs are. You can tell the cats and dogs are so loved and taken very well cared of. I will be recommending your facility. Thank you for allowing us to give Piper (aka Bootsie) a loving home.

Wonderful staff, wonderful facility! We got the most handsome boy there about 3 years ago. His name was Toby and only had one eye, he was well taken care of by the staff there. I will be posting a picture of Toby living the good life in New Orleans :)

The people here truely care about every animal that comes into this facility. I have witnessed employees and volunteers going above and beyond to accommodate potential adoptive parents. I am proud to be a part of the team and hope that everyone gets the help that they are looking for when they walk in the doors
How can the humane society expect people to adopt dogs when they charge 100$ for a dog and 125$ for a puppy. These are resume dogs not full breed show dogs. Ridiculous
