Today, an average of 300 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are cared for each day. The Humane Society offers low cost spay neutering as well as vaccines and low cost pet adoption.

I was there yesterday and this place is so clean. Employees are very friendly and you can tell that the dogs and cats there are happy and in a good environment. I had the chance to visit the shelter by Doral and it is sad how dirty and how bad that place smells and it is a new building.
I adopted my kitten and soon after found out he was ridden with issues (ringworm, coccidia and ear mites) that he'd contracted prior to adoption. The Humane Society of Greater Miami graciously agreed to treat him for all of his ailments completely free until he was healthy, a process that would have cost me upwards of $2,000 otherwise. I am eternally grateful! Adopt, don't shop.

I was so disappointed. I received notice for my dogs vaccine in February. I made an early start to get there because I was off from work. After arriving they told me they couldnt see him early. I would have to come back in February.
