Dee is a gem. Period. She possesses a level of knowledge, passion and skill that is unmatched among any hair professional I’ve ever met or heard of. Not only is she all about the science behind her craft, but she bends over backwards to go the extra mile for her clients simply to help, simply because she genuinely cares. She is that friend/family hair professional we all wish we had inside access to, and now we all do because that’s literally how she is with all of her clients! Simply the best and HIGHLY recommend!!!
Fantastic and highly recommend! Dee is very kind, really listens to you, and is a damn good hair stylist! I walk out of there beaming since her work always hits the mark.
I have loved every experience at Humane Salon and always recommend it to friends! Dee is great to work with and I appreciate how she listens and helps me work through what I want, and I definitely appreciate not feeling rushed. Honestly, “Humane” is such an appropriate name for the space that Dee has created!
TL;DR best hair stylist in the area. before going to humane salon, i considered hair care a commodity... something that was a reluctant necessity and universally available. but Dee opened my eyes to an artform. just like any other, it is manifested as a combination of knowledge, skill, and natural talent. this place has all three along with a caring soul and consummate professional. in short, i will never go anywhere else and you shouldn't either.
My wife missed her appointment due to a flat tire. She was really looking forward to getting her hair done at a queer friendly salon. Well I've tried to reschedule her appointment 5 times now with no return calls or messages. Keep in mind she's also autistic so the hair was a sensory problem too. Had to break down and cut it myself today as she is refusing any other salon now. Had a lot of hope for this place, but nevermind!
