we had a wonderful experience adopting our sweet boy Rocky (formerly elvis) 10 months ago. The staff are great and rocky is our families perfect match. I believe in their vision and so grateful to them for our sweet boy that I became a volunteer and love helping other animals find there furever home just like Rocky. thank you for all that you do
It was a great experience going through them! They were all friendly and very knowledgeable. Thank you for our furever friend! White diamond (name now Luna) made herself right at home.
The staff and volunteers at the shelter love and take care of the animals, but corporate personal (which at times outnumbers shelter employees) only care about spending money and not on the animals. None of them, including the new CEO has ANY animal back round. What happened to Humane Society Calumet Area which celebrated 75 years a few years ago. Humane Indiana is such a wonderful place. Our kittens 🐈🐱 Peggy Pippa and Stormi Marie Roseman (originally Duchess and Marie) bring such joy to our household. Even when they're being mischievous, they make us smile. They definitely have a furever home here with us!! Thank you, Humane Indiana!
this shelter kept my Charlie alive for 14 months till he found his forever home with us. Not many shelters are willing to keep a Pitt alive that long. Thank you...for saving my family member...till he found his family.
they r affordable & r freindly.I knew a person who lost his home.he had a dog so I picked up his dog in hopes the humansocity would yske the dog.The dog had been neglected as far as grooming.the dog looked so bad u couldn't see her eyes.it just so happened a group from Chicago was there that day,with some discussion they decided 2 take her.thank god.
I'm so thankful to Humane Indiana!!! We adopted Oreocake...whose Name is now Cami! That's my husband and I in the pic. Cami is soooo adorable, loving, friendly, and the perfect dog for the children. She had a smooth transition. She was meant to be a part of our family. Here's an updated pic of Cami. Thanks again, and GOD bless you all�
