So disappointed in Humane Indiana. Reached out to them for help rescuing a stray family of cats. Was told by Angie that she could help, she'd get fosters etc. . After calling her back 3 times with a question she finally decided to speak to me, acting like I never spoke to her before. Finally she said she had no fosters, couldn't help me and would email me a list of other agencies. Then she asked where I lived and when I told her she said yes I did talk to you. So we just got a dog from here on Saturday, it’s now Wednesday and the dog has a severe kennel cough. When we called the humane society, they said it’s our problem and we should call the vet that they recommended. They are completely ignorant and should not be adopting animals.
They ignore you, unanswered messages when in need. Not really a place I would use if they can't even do their jobs. Helping animals is the goal of this company I THOUGHT.....

I work for INDOT and we had a coyote struck by a car on 1/16/2020 and was curled up on the shoulder of the road. After going through our protocols we received calls from passing motorists the following morning 1/17/2020 that the animal was still there and alive. After calling around and speaking to DNR I was directed to humane Indiana. I called immediately and spoke with Steve and explained the situation of the animal.
