One of the best places in NB to eat – First off i have to say i have eaten here many times and NEVER had a bad meal or bad service. Some how the food gets better each time I go. well, worth the money and is a great place to bring out of town guests
We tried Huisache for the first time from a friend's reccomendation and fell in love. What a wonderful find just off of the main square of Downtown. Check a map or your nav system because it's easy to pass and you do not want to miss it. The food and atmosphere make Huisache a great choice for a night of wine and aps with the girls, a special night out with your sweety or a family dinner when everyone is too tired to cook.
As a long-time New Braunfels resident, I can actually remember a time that this space was not home to the Huisache Grill. Ever since it has opened I have been in love with the all the food, from tortilla soup to the Chicken Yucatan to all the yummy desserts. I have enjoyed watching the restaurant grow and expand and hope it continues to do so, even if it means having to wait for a table on a Friday night.

User review by forgetfulfancy – The restaurant has a good selection of wine and beer, but the food is only slightly above mediocre and a bit overpriced. In the booth we sat at there were tortilla chip crumbs on my seat, a few on the table and on the floor, otherwise, the ambiance was good.

Worth a Visit – A very good restaurant. Located "downtown" the restaurant is located in a rather awkward position to get into and out of, and it is right next to the railroad tracks. But this does not detract from atmosphere or the food. There are a number of interesting entrees that are all very reasonably priced. We definitely will go there again when we visit.
Best Food in the Area! – Great food! Great value. We are lucky in New Braunfels to have a restaurant this good.
