Dr. Kang has been my pain doctor for years. After a major back surgery in 2010, I was using a walker and didn't know what the future held. I was on so much medication and was scared. I found this doctor. Dr. Kang asked for a commitment to trust him. He got me down to 2 daily meds and I have been working full time for 5 years. Not one day of disability. Trust him.
I found Dr. Kang very caring and compassionate. I have pain due to arthritis in my neck as well as dystonia. I have heard of patients getting pain relief thru dry weaving, but Dr. Kang is the first one who mentioned it as an option. It resulted in me having a lot of hope in Dr. Kang's ability to continue getting my pain level down. I am very happy he is at the Bellaire office.
Dr Kang spent a lot of time with me talking about options. His diagnois was spot on and he was able to relieve my pain for the first time in many years. He's the real deal!
This Dr, and I use the term lightly, was extremely rude and condescending. I had surgery for lung removal in mid April and went to him when my pulmonary doctor said that he could no longer prescribe my pain medication. During my appt. I was made to feel like a drug addict when he said that he had never been on opioids and couldn't understand anyone that would take them even though I was following my doctor's orders. He did not offer a lesser pain medication nor any anti anxiety drug to assist.
Office staff was excellent and caring. It took about 45 minutes of paperwork but that is understandable. The doctor was in severe hurry only spoke to me for 4 minutes. Didn't ask my expectations or where the pain was most difficult and said He doesn't prescribe any drugs. I have never seen such poor professionalism and disrespect from a doctor or any professional for that matter. Worst physician ever of my 50 years
Dr Kang is a great Doctor...he sit down with you and explains any question you have...I would highly recommend him...and his staff is very friendly a great bunch of ladies!!!
Dr. Kang is everything one would want in a physician. He is very compassionate, he discusses all options, answers all questions thoroughly and has a great bedside manner. He spends quite a bit of time with his patients going over all aspects of your treatment. I feel very fortunate I found him and would definitely recommend him to family and friends. Probably even strangers!!! Great and caring physician!!!
