Four ppl in our party. 15 min before anyone cane over and another 10 min for coffee French toast was cold had to send back. Very slow service. Bacon not cooked. Very disappointed. Great location but will not go back. There’s so many other places to go to.. save your money.
RecommendedI lived in New Orleans for 40 years so I know what authentic N.O. gumbo tastes like, and Huey’s is it! Going back in the morning for beignets.
My wife’s roast beef sandwich was soggy and greasy and my crab cake sandwich was undercooked. Waitress was apologetic but that’s as far as it went.
Had the New Orleans Shrimp Po Boy it’s delicious!! Had Benets for desert yum!! And a great view of the river. Definitely will go back!!
Sea water side settings very relaxing
Food and service great. We will be returning during this trip.
You MUST have their pecan pie with warm bourbon sauce at least once in your life! It’s that good.
