Every time we go to Savannah this is the first place we go.... You may have to wait but so worth it! Can't miss their shrimp and grits. Have never been disappointed.
My wife and I recently spent a week in Savannah. We ate here our first night there. Food was fantastic. The place was packed but still did not have to wait long. The service was excellent also.
Don't order the red beans & rice. Tastes like they came out of a can. Only 1 piece if of sausage comes with it.
Hard to top a place like this, best Breakfast in Savannah!
The beignets alone are so worth scrounging for parking. The seafood omlette and eggs Benedict were perfect. The wait staff were friendly. Felt like you were their guest. Manager was attentive. Latoya you the woman. Perfect bday for the 4th. They were slammed but it all worked.
The cornbread served with the meal? 1/2" thick, over cooked to the point of being almost burnt. Cole slaw like product served as a side? Tasted like none I've ever had and didn't even look like slaw. Yuk! House salad? For the price of the meal you'd think better quality. Ranch dressing? 1% milk is thicker and tastier. But, the scallops on spinach n grits? Tasty and well prepared. Everything was heavenly! Red beans and rice was phenomenal!
Awesome bar with friendly bartenders located right on the river. Although I only had drinks here the food on others plates looking amazing! If you like drinks with a kick I highly recommend the Satsuma!!!
