Dr. Tien is awesome. I had an emergency surgery in my elbow which was a staff infection as a result of large laceration stitched area that occurred a week before. My laceration got infected and was suddenly going south in a hurry! Very scary time! Went to ER at Baptist and got great care from ER. I was admitted quickly. Very responsive - He saw me the morning after my accident the night before. Great support staff - they scheduled me for surgery the next morning at 8:00 am. Dr. Tien did a great job - complete repair of two tendons and a nerve bundle. The follow-up physical therapy staff is equally responsive and expert. Bottom line - my hand works again!!!
Dr. Tien was excellent every step of the way from initial consultation, to the surgery, to follow-up care. He has an outstanding and engaging bedside manner. His professionalism and compassion for his patients are truly remarkable.
I had severe pain on my finger tip for a few years and nobody could figure out why. When I saw Dr. Tien, he told me it was GLOMUS TUMOR, which I have never heard before. He ordered MRI and removed the tumor. My pain immediatly went away. I am very impressed by his knowledge and skill. His office staff are also very efficient and friendly. I am very happy with them.

I woke up one day with an angry looking wrist with terrible pain. My family doctor thought it was a joint infection and wanted me to go to emergency room. But he called Dr. Tien's office and Dr. Tien got me in to see him on the same day. He determined it was not infection and put me on steroid pills. I started to feel better in a few hours and the pain was completely gone in 3 days. He is such a smart doctor. I am very happy.
Dr. Tien was extremely courteous and pleasant as was his staff. I am very pleased with the procedures that I had done.
