As a person with a chronic disease, I've been a frequent visitor of all the local hospitals over the past few years. I've experienced all ends of the spectrum when it comes to Cleanliness, Bedside manner, And skill of operation. The arthritic first joint my index finger has given me much pain for the last several years. After several steroid injections which was effective pain reliever until last year. Dr. Tien was through in explaining my options. In November he fused the finger joint. The surgery recovery was just as he explained. I am pain free plus the top joint which was turning left, is totally straight. Dr. Tien is a very skillful surgeon with a warm kind and humorous disposition. Dr. Tien performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. He did an excellent job. I had no complication. There was little pain involved in the whole procedure. His brilliant, happy, confident personalty made the whole ordeal pleasurable. He was highly recommended by my RA Doctor and I agree with his high recommendation. My mom broke her wrist back in June 2020 and we met with Dr. Tien and you could not find a more friendly, compassionate doctor than him. He also explained the procedure he was going to do in detail and ask if we had any questions. He spends time with his patients and does not rush out of the room. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him and I have to several friends. He is a gifted and talented physician and surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and very personable. I wouldn't go to anyone else for issues w/ my hands.
Great surgeon, how blessed I was to have found this talented,kind, surgeon Don’t even get me started about his bedside manner,made you feel you were his only priority.
Dr. Tien treated me for a freak accident that resulted in multiple fracture. He was so very kind, took time to educate me along the way, explained milestones in healing. I'm so grateful for the progress I've made and I would not hesitate to return to him.
