This lively spot in the heart of River Street is located on the street level of the River Street Inn. A spirited bar is surrounded by a low-lit assortment of tables, opening up onto an extensive patio that lines the sidewalk for open air dining. Bayou cooking dominates the menu, with regional favorites from New Orleans such as beignets for breakfast, muffaletta sandwiches (or the veggie muffaletta) for lunch, and Pan-Fried Pork Chops for dinner. Don't miss the traditional red beans and rice, which comes with most entrees.

I really enjoyed my shrimp & grits. Eventhough we came in close to closing time, the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs! I've eaten at several places on Riverwalk after visiting Savannah several times. This was my first time dining at Huey's after a referral from the driving attendant at the B Historic where we staying. I will definitely try this place again!
The food on this visit wasn’t as good as it was in the past. We drove 2 1/2 hours and the food and service was disappointing. We will not be back.
We were there 11 years ago on our honeymoon. We went twice that week because the food was so good. It hasn’t changed.
The food was delicious and the beignets were the best.
Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff and EXCELLENT beignets! We all enjoyed our food and the French toast was so deeelish!
A little bit of everything Southern. Such a wonderful experience! We will be back.
Just left Heuy’s an hour ago... we went at the recommendation of our hotel concierges. We felt lied to! This dinner was a travesty! From the rock hard cornbread to the spaghettio tasting jambalaya pasta... gnats in the wine, crusties on the forks. Don’t even get me started on the steak! I will admit the French onion soup was delicious but other than that, everything else tasted like something straight out of an episode of kitchen nightmares. Will not return.
Beautiful view! Awesome food.
