Thank you for staying open for dine-in! If you are in the Columbus area and you are wanting good quality food Huck’s Place is the place you need to go! At this time of crisis we all need to support the hometown restaurants, clothing stores, gift and flower shops, and hair salons. Your next door neighbor might be the owner of a local store and we need to make sure we support the business so they can take care of their family also.
Great food and atmosphere
love the red fish and the steaks
We liked it. But, the steak had too much fat on it. The waitress told me the Buffalo oysters appetizer was broiled and they were fried. The catfish was too salty. However we loved the atmosphere and will give it another try. We love going to different restaurants. We came from Tuscaloosa for a date night. We will come again and try it and come early to explore downtown.
Don’t waste your time , rude , terrible service .
From experience going there. I don’t think COLUMBUS Miss Could have a restaurant that would be up scale. I will not go back due to long wait for food. I would rate the food 4 out 10. Service was about a 5. Nothing would make me for a return visit.
Steaks were tough. catfish and shrimp was good. Party of 10 1/2 of us got our food the others had to wait 20 minutes for theirs. Waitress was nice but had the order all confused. I had fries with my meal. Got them 5 to 10 min after my main dish. My granddaughter got her baked potato 5 to 10 minutes before her main dish. The tips are automatically added to your ticket, so you dont have a choice whether or how much to leave the waitress. They dont have to give you good service because they know they are getting a tip anyway. W... read more
Great food with a pleasant atmosphere. The appetizers was good enough to make a meal off of.
