"We have security" oh you mean the guy that sits in his car at night and doesn't protroal around the complex? I've had 2 things stolen because they are too cheap to put up security cameras in the parking lot or inside the buildings by the bikes. Maintenence takes forever to show up. They lower rent prices the week after you renew and say "tough luck we can't do anything about it." DO NO RENT HERE EVER!! WORST PLACE IN MANKATO!!
Beware of this place. The virtual tour is great, but living here and dealing with management is a nightmare. When we moved in the place was not completed. It still isn't. Paper thin walls meant I had to study elsewhere, as I could hear everything my room mates were saying or doing. Decorating finishes are cheap, with paint peeling off corners, locks that would not work, dish washer not working. I do not recommend this property for anyone. My son spent his Ole Miss sophomore year at this property and when he entered in the fall of 2014 found it to be dirty with glass shards on the floor and a coat of dust throughout. Then, when he finally exited the premises July 21, 2015, was told by management that he was liable for utilities until August 8 via Simple Bills (Waco, TX). Go somewhere else, anywhere. Live at home. Avoid. We are not students to them but the gullible. Read anything and everything they have you sign with patent, attorney, and priest nearby. They will kill your soul and send your finances to hell
Do NOT do business with these people. Avoid at all costs! They lie through their teeth to get you to sign a lease, and then stop caring immediately. The property and apartments are filthy and uninhabitable. There is trash everywhere and they don’t clean the apartments between tenants. Compared to other apartment complexes in the area, the furniture and decor of the apartment are out dated and in a lot of cases broken. When I was living there, there were many things that needed to be fixed. Upon move in; 1. the bulb in the room was blown 2. the toilet handle was broken 3. Shower rod was old and fell a part in a few days 4. Due to the amount of limestone on/in the old shower head, hardly any water could be sprayed out. 5. Kitchen floor was full of stains 6. As a parent I caution you: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! The city of Lexington should be ashamed to allow a company like this to rent to college students. This is a flop house run by an unscrupulous company and is designed to fleece money from college kids who essentially have no rights. The apartments are dirty and in disrepair. Decent enough during the school year, despite having the highest crime rate in West Campus for the past seven years - 3 stars there. But DO NOT live here over the summer. Current issues going on: - waited 9 weeks and had to call 4 times for maintenance to come put in new light bulbs (half of them in the apartment were out) and fix the running toilet; - the "security" sensor on the "locked" Nueces St entrance gate has been broken for a solid month (still is at this time), including while an armed suspect was being pursued by ... read more
