I went for the first time on my own to file my taxes and the man who was assigned to help me straight up told me to not to waste his time multiple times. My parents claim me every year since I'm very much dependent on them.He told me I couldn't file my taxes unless they don't claim me. Which I know was a lie since I've filed my taxes with H&R block in years past, and there was no issue. Negligent and unprofessional. We have been an H&R Block customer for 20+ years. Had the same tax preparer for 10+ years. We had an appt on March 27. Go in and she said she thought we were a phone appt and didnt have time for us. Well, if we were scheduled a time slot why wasnt there time? Said she would follow up at the end of the week. Last year our local Block group did not do what they could to save us money on taxes. They did not ask for forms regarding a trust, or file any information we gave them on it. We were notified months later that the forms were not there, then fined a huge late fee. This year, my son and I took his taxes to them, hoping for better results. I contacted this ******************** by telephone regarding an *** form W-7 and was placed on hold for them to verify that the acceptance agent was available. I was told that she was available and they scheduled an appointment for 3:00pm. I asked what documents we needed to bring for the acceptance agent, whom I was given the name of.I arrived with the forms requested and spoke with the person that was identified as the acceptance agent. ***** COMPANY! I filled with them for a couple years and have had no issues. This year I was expecting $1120 back for my tax refund. I filled on Feb 4. I am just now getting it on April 14th but I am only getting $359.02 back. Apparently H&R Block's system didn't send it correctly so I was only supposed to get $520 and the H&R Block charged me $160.98 for filling with them. My husband and I had an appointment today to get our taxes done at the *************. location in *************. I booked the appointment to be a One-on-one in office appointment. However, we were turned away by the tax pro upon arriving for our appointment while another couple who arrived at shortly after were seen. When making payment for *** and FTB I selected the Credit/Debit payment and made the payment for the taxes due (state and federal). They had nothing in writing to let me know that the payment was only for *** although there was an *** logo at the top right it was still confusing. They were unhelpful and said I either had to wait for *** to refund the overpayment or make a claim with the bank. When selecting electronic payment alternatively it is very clear with check boxes as to which department you are paying. Very deceptiv... read more

I had a horrible experience with ***** block. She redid my taxes 4 times. I would bring up something she missed and she wouldn't listen to me. She didn't put my Social security in for income which would cause *** to audit me. I called her and she said I didn't give her the right paperwork and I said yes I did. She realized she'd made a mistake and I went in have her fix it and when she fixed it she did it wrong and I brought that up to her and then she did it the way she should have done in the four times before that. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a tax company and I am currently trying everything I can to hold this despicable company responsible. They have taken it upon themselves to send a new card and I already had a active card and its been like 3 months and no card in the mail
