Zero **** RatingThis site makes you leave at least 1 star, not sure why. The worst customer service. Not one of the many people i spoke with was helpful. I had to ask that they correct the name on the taxes. I had to ask that they add all of the income. I had to inform them that sections were not completed properly.When I tried to get a refund, I was transferred to almost every branch of the company with hour long waits in between. Wound up calling my bank to dispute the charge.

I started getting my taxes done at the ***********, ** location and this is the last year i will be going there... Here's why:Last year my tax "professional" told me in an email that i still have that I would be exempt from paying a part of my taxes back to the government (which i though was super fishy because how would i possibly be exempt)??? I filed my taxes with HR Block and the tax preparer messed up on my taxes resulting in me getting reviewed and not receiving my stimulus for my family. I called HR Block since I'm owed $18,000 from ******* and can't get it because they messed up and claimed they would give me a refund for my filing fees. Well now they completely ignore me and haven't received any refund or response "

After spending hours filling out my tax return, I contacted the support team to remove an optional $89 "**************" service prior to filing (there is no way to amend your cart otherwise). After verifying my details and indicating to the customer support representative that I simply wanted to remove the service, I was surprised to find that all the information was completely erased - eliminating hours of work. On January 16, 2021 I filed my taxes online using *********. I received emails stating that my ************** and my State ****** was submitted. I then received a text message on February 6, 2021 from H&R Block that stated "HRBLOCK: You must resubmit your return before it can be filed. **** in to ****************************** to resubmit." I then received another text on February 6, 2021 stating "HRBLOCK: Your ************** return is on hold due to a federal return issue. Fix the federal to process the state." My review is not against any franchise of ***********, but of the online Tax Filing software. I tried to file my taxes, with a contribution to retirement, which qualified me for the *****'s ******. Checking ******* website, I do seem to qualify for it (over 18, not a dependent, not a student, and *** less than $32,500).The software extorts me to buy their $50 Deluxe package to claim the credit, or they won't e-file my taxes. I have used ************* since I started filing taxes. I contacted customer service today to find that they have outsourced my private information to ***************. Since they do not share our same laws. They are not obligated to keep my address, social security number or all my kids social security. BE **** of their new business choices.
