I had the best experience I’ve ever had with a tax preparer at this location. I used Melanee. She was incredible. She prepared my taxes and was extremely knowledgeable. She has many years of experience and it showed. I will never use anyone else ever again. She has such a passion for what she does and she was so patient with me despite having a bit of a complex preparation this year. She educated me on what she was doing. They tried to insist when I sat down that because I got divorced last year I had to file married, even though I told them I divorced in February, they still tried to insist. When I got them to agree to change it they were somehow unable to adjust it to filing single. When going over the forms they had several very old addresses on my forms which made no sense as those were not the addresses listed on the forms i sent in nor were they ones from last year either. I want to make it clear that the woman who helped me was wonderful. She was kind and empathetic. She tried her hardest to get me every deduction possible. She gave me a coupon code at the end when she saw how utterly shocked I was at the price of the service. It was outrageously expensive. I would give her 5 stars, but I would give H&R Block 2 stars.
