We met with Jacob C. left unsatisfied. The office does not give out pricing ahead of time. It's $430 to file a basic 1040 and an extra $100 for each additional form (like Schedule C). Jacob could not answer my questions about tax requirements, the IRS, or anything else outside of what was plugged into the H&R Block software. We went in ready to pay for knowledge and advice, but as we went through the session, it was clear that would not be the case. My tax pro was very sloppy and did minimal inquiry into my finances. As I result I will have to pay back taxes and penalties. Jacob was like an amateur. I am very angry.

Where to begin for starters my “tax expert” was the office manager which was already concerning. Then she starts my taxes but does the understand how to do doordash income so she call the “tax expert” over then she seems stumped, they didnt ask about my deductibles from doordash. Then a few days later they call and say “your taxes are done and you owe us $400 to file them! I mean $400 bucks is what i was getting back from my taxes in total.
