Had exactly the same experience as Mr. Perez. Uncommunicative, unprofessional and unresponsive. Have been using H&R Block in another town for years and it was always a wonderful experience. But in Scarborough, I dropped off taxes and didn't hear anything for three weeks. When I called to follow-up, (when they finally answered) they claimed they left a message, except I have caller ID, so I know it wasn't true. I had an extremely frustrating experience with H&R Block. First, they canceled my appointment which was inconvenient. When I showed up, there was no one at the reception to assist me. I was told my taxes would take about a week, but after that time passed, I heard absolutely nothing. I called multiple times—no one ever picked up, and even after leaving messages, no one returned my calls. We waited a month for an appointment to have our business taxes done as well as our personal. Tina was very rude to us and rejected us right from the start. She would not do our business taxes because "she was too busy." When we told her we waited a month for an appointment she told us the scheduler lied to us about our appointment. She even said Turbo Tax would be a better option. Honestly, she came up with every reason not to do our taxes. This was a very poor experience and I WILL NEVER USE H&R BLOCK.
