Filed my taxes this year in person at H&R Block. Normally I do my taxes myself on their online platform or other tax prep platforms. This past year brought changes to employment, income, etc so I wanted to make sure I did my filing correctly with all the changes. Our tax specialist was great and answered all questions and was very knowledgeable (Zachary) and we were done in about an hour. My issue with H&R Block is their pricing. $400 to file taxes..THIS is why I do them myself normally. Whew..

Do NOT use HR Block! My accountant retired so I tried HR Block. I took my 1040EZ to them and was scheduled to get my federal return on Feb 11. When my return was rejected I went back to them and realized they had not only misspelled my name but they had entered my account number wrong. The manager Sally Shafer told me I needed to talk to my bank and see if the bank would allow the transaction to go through.
