I had an appt to come into the chiefland office. The only reason that it took nearly an hour for preparing my taxes was because the gentleman John had to keep getting assistance/help from another employee. Then to find out that of the $630.00 that I was allowed for a refund, H&R's Blocks total fees of $410 only gave me a total refund of $220. Thats what a single grandmother on social security + earning a Lil side monies to help pay for monthly prescriptions gets!!! Shame on these tax preparing companies for their HIGH fees. ... read more
