A true Country Kitchen Restaurant. Food was great. Very timely service. It don’t get any better.
We eat at Hoyt's once or twice a week. The food is fantastic and the service is superb! The best waitresses are here at Hoyt's! The beef tips are awesome and you haven't lived until you have had the finger lickin' chicken. Their cole slaw is good. If you like hot stuff go for the ghost pepper burger. I could go on and on! So I'll just say we have never eaten anything that wasn't the best.
Breakfast service is horrible and food was mediocre at best. To top it off, they were not even busy and some of the kiddos working there could care less about working and the restaurant. This was their 3rd strike especially after watching a waitress kick silverware all the way to the kitchen because she was too lazy to pick it up.
We finally found a go to place for country cooking! The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. You came highly recommended by the lovely ladies over at DRS, Thank you ladies, you both were right on point. That was a delicious Hamburger Steak, yummy dressing for my salad, yummy mashed potatoes and gravy... I appreciate fresh mushrooms and onions and that you pulled off.. The fried tenderloin is my go to. Especially on Texas toast.
Best blueberry pancake hands down ...however it is expensive for just one. It doesn't come with anything for the price. It would be nice if it could be added to a breakfast for a cheaper price. 2 blueberry pancakes are almost $10 and they don't come with anything.
