For most of her life, Trish has been on the path toward owning Howl-A-Day Inn. She grew up around dogs, and it became her dream to run the Iditarod. After she completed the legendary dog sled race, she knew she wanted to spend her days working with dogs. So, in 2008, our boarding, day care, and training facility opened, and we've been offering affordable quality care ever since. RecommendedWe brought our dog Rex, to Howl-A-Day Inn for a 7 week "doggy boot camp". We could not be more pleased with our experience there and the final product. Trish established an amazing training foundation for Rex and gave us the insight to be successful in continuing his training. We've had Rex back for a few weeks now and are sooo thankful we made this investment in him. We can't recommend Trish highly enough. 10/10

A friends dog was killed here, beware!
My one year old dog spent six weeks with Trish for obedience training this past fall. Prior to my dog meeting with Trish, he was very defiant and unskilled. Trish has a no nonsense approach to training dogs, and she holds copious amounts of knowledge on dogs behaviors and exactly how to handle various challenging situations. I went to visit my dog a few times and Trish worked with us both when I was up there so that I could experience where he was in his training, and how to continue the training myself once I took him home.... read more

Howl a day Inn is the second home to our two Labs (my dogs run straight in when dropping them off). Trish is very accommodating and takes great care of our dogs. There has been multiple times when we gave her very short notice and she has always found room for us. very professional run kennel, straight to the point with no fluff or BS. Trish is AWESOME! She takes care of our 3 dogs whenever we are away. Her facility is clean and the dogs always come home happy and clean! She is very good with dogs and it shows! Thank you Trish for taking such good care of our fur babies!
Trish was a pleasure to work with! Within in minutes she was able to identify our needs and provide us with the tools we needed. She is very knowledgeable about the behaviors and characteristics of different breeds. We have two dogs who had different undesirable habits, she was able to get everyone on the same page within 20 minutes.
