Howies is my favorite restaurant in the world. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service there. It's home of my favorite foods which are the Kansas City crunch burger, dynamite fries, cheesy bacon bombs and their fish fry. I get physically excited before any visit to Howies.

You need to change your 2 for 1 burger night. If you have an odd number in your party, that person is being left out. We almost walked out, but our third person said it was ok, when in fact it wasn't. I'm sure we'll double think before going back with a odd number in our party for burger night

My husband and I have been eating at Howie's for over 20 years. Tonight we invited friends to join us because we had $20 in gift certificates. It was two for one burger night. When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress returned the certificates saying that the manager said we couldn't use them because we already received a discount on our meal. The certificates clearly stated they could not be used on alcohol, but no-where did it say they could not be used on a nightly special. I went and talked to the manager myself an... read more

I took my friend Jeremy there for dinner Friday night, and the place was packed. We were promptly seated outside and greeted by our server. Our drinks and appetizers were delivered very quickly as was our dinner. Everything was perfect considering how busy the place was. It's sad that I regularly forget about dining there as I don't get to that part of La Crosse for dinner much. The times I have been there, it's been perfect. Your staff personnel are fantastic and the food is amazing. I highly recommend eating there.

Top notch bar-like restaurant! Great for all ages young & old. Never disappointed in their burgers, sandwiches, sides or wings. Highly recommend for a lunch meeting, out with friends or quick to go order. Went their last Wednesday and had great service from Skyler. A+
