Horrible front office assistance, they are lazy and slow. and the dr himself is equally as slow about anything! Takes weeks for call back unless you want to call 3x a day to get the worthless front desk help.
I agree with other comments that the front desk staff is horrible and unfriendly. This doctor is lazy and uncaring. Two weeks after my visit with them I am no better off than I started. He ordered and X Ray and MRI which I got completed and ASAP. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever to call me back about it, I had an appointment on a Friday to see him before leaving on Sunday for a business trip and he cancelled. So I get another week with a herniated disc in my neck and no relief.
There is no office management. Not a friendly place. It is their way or the highway and I was not treated like a patient. No concern for wait time and the attitude is not service related. Dr. Howe has this type of attitude and it unfortunately resonates to so of his staff.
Terrible doctor and front desk staff. The level of care received was poor. It is obvious that Dr. Howe likes to ride the insurance claim train due to the number of unnecessary tests he likes to order when one biopsy was all that was needed. When he found out my insurance had limited coverage he threw a script for antidepressants at me and said maybe some of my symptoms were in my head and the tumor he found wasn't big enough to worry about and to come back in 6 mos.. He was wrong. Stay away!!
Worst experience and Dr. I have ever encountered. Waited a month and a half for new primary care physician visit. Literally had to call my insurance company on my cell phone and hand it to the receptionist so that they would see me because she said the doctor's name needed to be on my insurance card. Got that straightened out. Doctor referred me to orthopedic. A month later still no referral. Orthopedic doctor says we need referral. Literally had to call doctors office and conference them in so
