I was seen for an annual physical at this office a year and a half ago, and I was incorrectly billed for the service. I have called the billing department at least 10 times to discuss the issue, and they always promise to look into it and then never follow up. I’m still receiving monthly bills for a service I didn’t receive.
I have a couple of doctors with the FPP and am very happy with them. However the phone system leaves much to be desired. If the physician’s office does not answer the call it rolls over to operators to take a message. I’ve gotten this two or three times and each time I’ve been treated to background discussions when they picked up the call but apparently did not realize someone was on the line. They lie about whether they take your insurance, there is no communication between departments, their billing people never pick up the phone or call you back, their medical records folks rarely pick up the phone or call you back, the doctors fail to sign off on paperwork to get records sent out even after REPEATED request by phone and email over the course of MONTHS and they wait 6 months to actually send out medical bills.
