Saw Dr. Regenbogen in January 2000 with a severe swallowing problem. Both with solid foods & liquids. He did an upper endoscopy and it showed a normal esophagus and the biopsy showed high level of eosinophils. So no more tests were done! Treated me with medicines for 7 months with No relief!! Finally I changed doctors. Dr Lindenberg suggested a Barium swallow and it showed text book Achalasia!! More tests followed and showed Achalasia is the right diagnosis!! Dr. Regenbogen is an excellent physician. He is thorough, caring, listens to his patients, doesn't beat around the bush, but doesn't believe in continuing procedures, or in my case, scripts, when they're not needed...
Dr. Regebogen and his staff are exceptional to deal with. He is very kind and understanding of health issues I have had to deal with. I never feel rushed or that he is in a hurry for me to leave. He asks questions and makes sure I understand. Easy to speak with. Highly recommend him. His staff also reflects how he is. They are friendly and courteous. Very thorough with the pre-exam and respectful. Never rushed. Great group of folks to work with. :)
