Dr. Howard has helped me manage my rheumatoid arthritis with its serious challenges since 2011. He is a very kind and supportive doctor who addresses my questions and concerns openly and honestly. In particular, I trust his experience with medications available to RA patients. His recommendations on medication, diet and exercise have improved my quality of life significantly.
Horrible doctor incompetent and his nps turnover fast I'm sicker because of him doesn't order tests goes by bloodwork which any rheumi will tell you is not enough glad I'm now seeing a great dr
I waited an hour and 10 minutes in the waiting area, then spent another hour in the treatment room. I was only there for a simple injection in my hand. Dr Howard comes highly recommended from my other doctors and he seems very skilled with a needle. However, he acted as though he had no time for my questions - very rude considering he had wasted nearly two hours of my time. To say his front office staff was unfriendly would be disrespectful to the truly unfriendly. Cold detachment best defines.
I liked Dr Howard personally but his office staff is terribly rude and unfriendly. I had to pay up front. Credit card pymts extra charge. The body builder office manager very rude and the check out woman is worse. Pymt not explained to me ahead of time. Wants to sell supplements from his office. Will not go back. Will not refer anyone to him.
I made an appt with dr Howard 6 weeks before my appt. filled out all of my paperwork a head of time, had all records sent to them before my appt (one week) showed up 1/2 hr early, after waiting for over an hour was put into a room, took my bp, another's 15 minutes went by no dr. I drove over 2 hrs from Prescott and 2 hrs back. What's sad is his office staff never got back to me wondering what went wrong! If I saw this dr, it would be all out of pocket! So I figure they saved me money! Sad
I was unhappy with his office and staff at the Scottsdale office. There is no good communication about your treatment. No insurance excepted and they don't tell you how much exactly you have to pay by your pocket!!. For example , I wasn't aware of charges for follow up. when I asked why no one didn't tell me, the front desk lady rudly told me that you have to pay even if we don't make you aware of it. I paid with debit card, but I left the office dissatisfied
Very knowledgable, caring, professional, sensitive, curious about my situation, accurate and efficient, challenges me to think about myself in new ways.
Dr. Howard was very thorough and knowledgable. He took more time to explain my condition and treatment than I ever would have expected. I enjoyed the teaching aspect of this practice. I never had a long wait for my appointment or trouble scheduling. I felt he was very caring.
