ABOUT MY HEART ATTACK: This doctor told me for several months that I had to stop taking lorazepam, a medication I had been prescribed for 50 years (I’m 75). I brought my bottle with the remaining pills in it for him and told him I had started getting off of them 1-2 days before. He never mentioned to me how dangerous it is to stop the pills cold turkey and two days after my office visit, I started convulsing and having seizures.
